have you ever had it where you were at a store and you wanted something bad enough that you would pay for it yourself, and even offer to, but your parents won't let you get it? Thats why i'm upset right now!there was this really cool belt at JC Pennys and i wanted it so bad, I saw it there a month ago and i liked it then too, but this time i actually asked if i could get it. my mom said, "lets wait till it goes on sale." i was confused. ," but we're already here." i said "but we'll get it when it goes on sale" my mom said. It's not like it was expensive! i mean really!!! it's probably NOT going to go on sale, and if it does we wont go there to get it!!! i wanted it for a teen night thing i might go to tomorow, but NO! ugh! i hate when parents do that! then when we get to the car moms like,"the kids are whining." and dad's like,"why" and i say," because i wanted to get something, and mom wouldn't let me." he asked what i wanted and i told him it was a belt - it had music notes on it and when you turn it, the image turns into a keyboard- (it was holographic) he asked me,"don't you have enough belts already?" and i said,"i don't have any belts at all dad!" i really wanted it, very, VERY badly. and i barely ever ask for anything at all! my brother saw a sweater he wanted and it WAS on sale, mom told him he had enough sweaters that he didn't wear already- which was kinda true- but still. man I'm PO'd!!! *screams* I'M NEVER GONNA GET THAT BELT!!!!!!!

if something like this has happened to you before, share with me, I'd love to hear about how other peoples parents just don't get it too, so maybe i won't feel so upset myself.
